Firewall Overview

M.R Systems Firewall is a comprehensive and affordable Internet security solution for small offices with limited network experience.

Based on a high performance, 100 Mbps Fast Ethernet platform, the M.R Systems Firewall delivers fast firewall throughput, high performance encryption for VPN applications, and scalability to support new value added security services, including network anti-virus, virtual private networking, strong authentication using digital certificates, and content filtering subscription.
M.R Systems Firewall is available in 10-user and 50-user models, and both can be upgraded to support more users. The Firewall is also well-suited for protecting Intranet applications for specific departments with highly sensitive information, such as Human Resources or Finance but still require high-speed access to the rest of the network.

The Firewall VPN upgrade can be added to provide easy, affordable and secure connections for remote offices and workers, as well as business partners.

The VPN upgrade can be added to provide easy, affordable and secure connections for remote offices and workers, as well as business partners.

Virtual Private Networking (VPN) enables robust and cost-effective remote access for remote workers, branch offices, customers, suppliers and partners. M.R Systems Firewall uses the IPSec industry standard protocol to provide secure communication over the Internet, eliminating the need for expensive leased lines between offices, or modem banks and remote access servers for dial-up users.

When combined with SonicWALL's Authentication Service, you can provision network resources to authenticated remote users-guaranteeing that the right people access the right resources.

M.R Systems VPN Features

Interoperable IPSec VPN. SonicWALL VPN is based on the IPSec standard for VPN, so it's compatible with other VPN products, such as Check Point Firewall-1, Cisco PIX, Nortel Contivity and Axent Raptor.
Seamless Support for Windows Networking. VPN tunnels between two SonicWALLs can pass Windows Networking broadcasts, which support Windows Network Neighborhood. VPN users can view both local and remote network resources in the same Windows Network Neighborhood.
VPN Client for Secure Dial-Up Access. The SonicWALL VPN Client allows your organization to include dial-up Internet users into the SonicWALL VPN. The SonicWALL Client supports Windows 95, 98, NT and 2000.
SonicWALL Authentication Service. SonicWALL's authentication service adds strong authentication using digital certificates to VPN-enabled SonicWALL Internet security appliances and SonicWALL VPN Client software.

Domain name registration or transfer, broadcast and hosting

Select the best internet name available for your business, connect your web server to the internet directly at a blistering 100 Mbps, allow for expansion as your web site grows, maintain your site remotely to keep it relevant and up to date.

We can handle all aspects of domain registration on your behalf from completing the application forms and hosting Domain Name Information (DNS) on your behalf to transferring a domain to and from an existing provider.

We will run both Primary and Secondary DNS for your domain if necessary.

OPTION 10

Internet dial-up account, 10Mb web space (one year)

We are offering an internet dial-up account with 10Mb of web space (one year) free as an additional service to the network solutions on offer.

SMTP mail forwarding (one year)

We can set up network email systems based on Windows or Macintosh servers.
